Accessibility Statement

EatFuti is committed to making our website, dashboard, restaurant-powered ordering pages, mobile apps, and other digital products accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

EatFuti is committed to making our website, dashboard, restaurant-powered ordering pages, mobile apps, and other digital products accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access is a baseline product requirement, not a nice-to-have.

This Accessibility Statement explains what we aim for, what we've done, and how to reach us if something isn't working for you.

01

Our commitment

We aim to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across our public-facing properties. WCAG 2.1 AA is the most widely accepted accessibility standard and is referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice in its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance.

For restaurant-powered ordering pages built on our platform, the base templates we ship are designed against the same WCAG 2.1 AA standard. Restaurants can customize their pages (colors, fonts, layouts, photographs) within ranges that preserve accessibility, but a customer-of-EatFuti customer who makes custom design changes may produce a page that doesn't fully meet the standard. We provide guidance and tools to help our restaurant partners stay compliant, but the restaurant retains responsibility for its specific final design choices.

02

What we've done

We've worked to build EatFuti so it:

  • Works with screen readers like NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver. We use semantic HTML, proper heading hierarchies, ARIA labels where needed, and visible focus indicators.
  • Has sufficient color contrast in our base UI and template themes.
  • Supports keyboard navigation throughout the site, dashboard, and customer-facing storefronts.
  • Is mobile-friendly and responsive, adapting to different viewport sizes and orientations.
  • Has text alternatives for non-text content where the alternative is meaningful.
  • Avoids autoplay of audio and video.
  • Doesn't rely on color alone to communicate critical information.
03

What's still in progress

Accessibility is ongoing work. We are working on:

  • Full screen-reader testing of the newest AI-feature workflows
  • Better keyboard support for some of our advanced data visualization components
  • Improved alt-text generation guidance for restaurants uploading menu photos
  • A formal third-party accessibility audit (planned for 2026)

If you discover something that doesn't meet WCAG 2.1 AA on our site or your EatFuti-powered ordering page, please tell us using the contact info below.

Restaurants: your responsibilities

If you're a restaurant using EatFuti, the Americans with Disabilities Act and similar state laws may apply directly to your business, including the way your restaurant's ordering page is presented to customers. EatFuti's platform is designed to support compliance, but the obligation to comply ultimately runs to you, the operator of the business serving customers.

In particular:

  • Custom design choices you make (font colors, background colors, contrast levels, custom CSS where supported) can affect accessibility. If you choose color combinations that don't meet contrast requirements, your page may not be accessible.
  • Menu photos and content are uploaded by you. You're responsible for providing accurate alt text and avoiding text-as-image where it would create barriers.
  • Compliance with applicable state laws (such as the California Unruh Civil Rights Act or New York's State Human Rights Law) is your responsibility.

We strongly recommend consulting with a licensed accessibility specialist or attorney if you have specific compliance questions about your business.

05

Disabled Access Credit (Form 8826)

Components of the EatFuti service may make eligible small businesses qualified for federal tax incentives, including the Disabled Access Credit (IRS Form 8826). EatFuti makes no warranty as to whether you qualify or the value of credit you can claim. Eligibility depends on facts specific to your business and is determined by the IRS, not by EatFuti.

Consult a licensed tax professional to determine eligibility. Any information we provide about credits or tax incentives is general in nature and not tax advice.

06

How to report an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on any EatFuti property or on a restaurant page powered by EatFuti, please tell us. We take these reports seriously and aim to acknowledge them within two business days and to resolve significant issues within 30 days or to provide a timeline.

When you contact us, please include:

  • A description of the problem
  • The page URL where you saw it
  • The device, operating system, and browser you were using
  • Any assistive technology you were using (screen reader, switch device, voice control, etc.)

07

Feedback

We welcome general feedback on accessibility, not just bug reports. If something about our product could be made more accessible, write to accessibilityeatfutiai. Your input genuinely helps us prioritize.

08

A note on our approach

EatFuti's platform is designed to comply with applicable standards under the ADA and similar state laws. However, accessibility is a moving target. New devices, new assistive technologies, new content types, and new use cases come up all the time. We commit to ongoing work, not to perfection on any given day.

Any information we share about ADA, WCAG, or state-law compliance is provided as is, makes no representation of accuracy or applicability to your specific situation, and should not be construed as legal advice or relied on as such.
